Not All Graphene is made Equal

“Graphene” isn’t one material. Performance varies widely based on structure, purity, defect level, and how it’s incorporated into a formulation. Barracuda focuses on Pristine Graphene—a few-layer, unoxidized graphene engineered for consistency and predictable performance.

The characteristics that matter in practice include:

Few-layer structure: Thin, plate-like geometry. Not bulk graphite or fragmented oxides.
High aspect ratio: Aspect ratios that can exceed 10,000:1, enabling effective reinforcement and barrier performance.
Low defect density: More reliable mechanical, thermal, and barrier behavior.
Integration discipline (dispersion matters): PG performance depends on how it’s formulated and processed. High aspect ratio materials can agglomerate, so results come from validated mixing methods, appropriate chemistries, and performance testing. Not from “adding graphene” alone.
