EFR tank legs operate in a high-exposure zone, subject to constant UV, weather cycling, vibration, and incidental contact during inspections and maintenance. That environment creates two real problems: (1) Emissions performance can degrade over time when materials deteriorate, loosen, or tear in the elements. And (2) most leg socks on the market deteriorate rapidly under normal UV and weather conditions, driving premature replacements and repeat maintenance.

BPP Tank Leg Socks address both by combining durable, PG-enabled fabric with a reinforced internal layer, helping maintain integrity in outdoor service without changing tank design or field procedures.

Construction: 3-Layer System
  • Built to resist tearing, maintain its shape, and remain serviceable in real tank environments, not ideal conditions
  • Outer layer: PG-enabled high-strength fabric for durability and UV resistance
  • Middle layer: Reinforced vapor-barrier fabric (used as a reinforcement + barrier layer)
  • Inner layer: Ballistic fabric (single layer) for additional wear protection and structural integrity
